Police Arrest Fugitive After He Posts Ice Bucket Challenge Video

Generally speaking, the life cycle of a meme hits a high point when people get arrested because of it. So here’s the story of a wanted man who was found by the police after he accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

Jesean Morris, a 20-year-old Omahan who skipped parole, got called out by a friend to donate and/or raise awareness about Lou Gehrig’s Disease. But instead of doing the smarter thing and quietly donating, he made a video of himself pouring an ice bucket on his head, and posted it on Facebook.

According to the Omaha World-Herald, a friend tipped off police, who then arrested the man.

Morris is one of the millions of people taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge, which has so far raised over $80 million towards research into curing the neurological disease.

But also, he dumb.
