In honor of Festivus*, the venerated Frank Costanza-inspired holiday tradition, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) took to the Twitterz to air his grievances, most of them against Washington, D.C. I know what you’re thinking: isn’t airing anti-D.C. grievances against kinda Paul’s year-round thing? Grinch.
Twitter got into Paul’s laissez fare spirit:
Some of the tweets were simply rehashes of Paul’s political philosophy; others were gripes of the “why is the Red Line always late” variety; a decent number were about the Fed, which you can look up on your own.
And a shoutout to the senator who tweeted before it was cool:
It’s like Booker’s always been there.
* War on Christmas much?
