As some media outlets try to figure out how to report on Donald Trump in panels and Slack chats, others are considering more of a “wait and see” approach.

“Give Trump a chance” is a common refrain that anyone who has expressed trepidation about his presidency has definitely heard before, but now, it’s the theme of a new debate from Intelligence Squared U.S., a nonpartisan nonprofit that was designed to “restore civility, reasoned analysis, and constructive public discourse to today’s often biased media landscape.”

Next Wednesday, February 1, Bloomberg View‘s Clive Cook and political analyst and attorney Gayle Trotter will argue in favor of giving Trump a chance. The Atlantic‘s senior editor, David Frum, and Michael Waldman, the president of Brennan Center for Justice, will be arguing that nah, Trump has already proven he doesn’t deserve any type of chance.

You can go here for tickets and more information, but if you won’t be in D.C., don’t worry. The debate will stream on IQ2US. Here is the link to their public radio page.
