RNC Ad Attacks Obama For His Jimmy Fallon Appearance

As you probably know by now, President Obama paid a visit to Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night — and the appearance even had him slow jamming the news. Following that, the Republican National Committee released an ad, “A Tale of Two Leaders,” contrasting Obama’s slow jamming with Mitt Romney‘s speech about America’s future (which was also on Tuesday). The RNC’s conclusion: #NotFunny.

During Fallon’s “slow jam” bit, Obama talked about the rising interest on student loans — an issue he’s been promoting recently. Romney’s Tuesday schedule, on the other hand, featured a speech in which he said, “A better America begins tonight.” The speech was widely praised, from those on both sides of the aisle.

The RNC ad juxtaposed clips from that speech with clips from Fallon’s segment, aiming to make Obama look silly and not serious enough. At the end, the text reads simply, “#NotFunny.”
