Round 2: Dana Loesch, Ed Schultz Throw Down over Obamacare Again

Ed Schultz hosted BlazeTV’s Dana Loesch on his MSNBC show last week and things ended up getting pretty damn heated. They fought each other and Schultz said Loesch was being rude and “unworkable.”

So today, they faced off for Round 2 on Loesch’s BlazeTV show, and… it was actually very respectful and no one raised their voices at each other.

Loesch asked Schultz right off the bat why so many people hate Obamacare, according to one poll, if the law is supposedly working so well. Schultz pointed out that in the same poll, the majority of people who went through the new health care exchanges gave high marks to the quality of their health care coverage.

They went back and forth a bit on setting standards for what must be on certain policies, and Loesch took issue with mandating certain needs that people should have the option not to have included. Schultz acknowledged that the health care law “has an element of socialism to it” because everyone needs to contribute in order for the system to work.

He repeatedly said he’s not completely thrilled with the law, but as first steps go, it’s a good start.
