A reporter filmed the moment when a member of Roy Moore‘s campaign staff physically confronted a reporter outside of the embattled senate candidate’s rally tonight.
The Birmingham News reporter Connor Sheets posted video of the moment when a man wearing pro-Moore sticker started grabbing at a cameraman before tonight’s event in Henagar, Alabama. The man was told off before long, though a second man was filmed getting confrontational with a second cameraman on the scene.
Shortly after his first tweet, Sheets confirmed that the man who attacked the reporter was Tony Goolsby, DeKalb County coordinator and rally organizer for the Moore campaign.
CONFIRMED: the man who grabbed the videographer’s camera is Tony Goolsby, DeKalb County coordinator for Moore’s campaign. He organized tonight’s rally.

Moore’s campaign remains in dire straights due to the multitude of women who have come forward with claims about how the former state Supreme Court judge sexually abused them when they were teenagers. Moore’s camp continues to deny the charges against him, and they have frequently responded to the allegations by going after the media, the political establishment, and other such figures.
