Russia Responds to Canada’s Troll Map, Reclaims Crimea on Twitter
Earlier Thursday the Canadian delegation to NATO trolled Russian paratroopers’ “accidental” incursion across the Ukrainian border with a handy map reminding them where Russia ended. As Mediaite noted, the map also gave Crimea back to Ukraine:

Russia’s NATO delegation responded Thursday afternoon and retook the Crimean peninsula, which was annexed by Russia earlier this year:

The map also reminds us of the disputed areas of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which were split off from Georgia in a dispute in 2008. This would be the “contemporary geography of Europe” to which the Russians refer.
