Multiple units O/S at LLUMC for bomb threat. Search of hospital underway. Details to follow — Cindy Bachman (@SBCSDcbachman) December 8, 2015
After a sweep of both sites, students and employees were allowed to return. Police are now investigating the source of the bomb threats.
The bomb threats of course come a week after San Bernardino was hit with a deadly shooting attack that federal investigators are now treating as an act of terror perpetuated by ISIS sympathizers. Many of the victims of that terrorist attack were actually taken to LLUMC for treatment.
