Scott Walker Campaign Fires Back at Dem Rep. for ‘Noose’ Comment
The Scott Walker campaign fired back today at a Democratic congresswoman who said he’s literally “tightening the noose” around the necks of African-Americans.
Gwen Moore made that comment in a conference call today denouncing Walker’s opposition to certain policies like the minimum wage and photo ID.
The Walker camp first responded in this statement to The Hill:
A campaign spokeswoman for Walker called Moore’s comments “inflammatory and inappropriate.”
“Governor Walker will continue to focus on presenting solutions for Americans and uniting the country, while others continue to create division,” the spokeswoman, AshLee Strong, wrote in an email to The Hill.
Then Walker’s Twitter account sent this out, invoking Moore’s quote:

The liberal left is back at it again, attacking Governor Scott Walker for taking a principled stand and refusing to back down. This time, they’re pledging millions to keep Walker from advancing conservative reforms. Scott Walker needs your support now more than ever. Sign the pledge and tell liberals you’re standing with Scott Walker.
