Severed Leg Found in Waters Near Olympic Sailing Competition
Prior to the Olympic Games, we shared that the waters in which the Sailing competition would be held were a mess. Dead animals. Furniture. Plastic bags.
And now, a severed leg.
The Independent reports that the leg, which was severed at the hip, was found in the water not too far from where the sailing competition took place.
Authorities are evidently not fazed by the discovery.
“It was probably someone murdered by the drugs gangs,” a police source told the Daily Mail.
The source added, “It is very common to find body parts in the Guanabara Bay.”
Good to know.
