Skip Bayless Prematurely Tweeted ‘(Red)Skins Win’ Moments Before They Lost and Twitter Let Him Have it
After facing a 10 point deficit midway through the fourth quarter, the Washington Redskins staged a furious late rally to take a 17-13 lead over the Detroit Lions.
Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins ran the ball 15 yards into the end zone for the score to put the Redskins on top.
Skip Bayless was excited. So excited that he tweeted this:
Kirk Cousins just pulled off another YOU LIKE THAT? Redskins rally from 13-3 down mid-4th to win in Detroit. Skins win. I'm impressed.

The problem? There was still 1:05 remaining in the game. And the Lions had all three of their timeouts.
That’s an eternity in NFL time, which Bayless should’ve known. Of course, the Lions promptly stormed down the field, scored a touchdown, and went on to win 20-17.
Fans on Twitter jumped all over the Fox Sports hot taker after the Lions won:
@RealSkipBayless How many games have you watched in your lifetime? Evidently, not enough of them.
