Sportsgrid.com Announces Partnership With Steiner Sports To Sell Sports Memorabilia On Site

The online SportsGrid shop, powered by the country’s leading retailer of sports collectibles, is now open, featuring a carefully curated collection of memorabilia from all major American sports and covering the most fascinating events, personalities, and idiosyncrasies in each sport.

The store’s inventory will be curated by SportsGrid from the Steiner Sports collection, and includes one-of-a-kind pieces of sports history from all walks of athletics. “We’re thrilled to be working with Steiner Sports on this endeavor to monetize the site in an unprecedented way,” CEO of Abrams Media Dan Abrams noted of the venture. “The SportsGrid Store is our first major e-commerce initiative, and we hope to use it as a springboard for implementing similar kinds of revenue generating partnerships on our other editorial properties in the near future.” SportGrid’s new store is part of a growing trend of websites using creative ways to monetize– in this case, a unique venture that will let the reader become participate in sports history as they read up on all the latest news.
