State Department Reportedly Discovered Even More Benghazi Emails From Hillary
It was only three days ago that Hillary Clinton‘s email scandal got new legs when the FBI managed to recover a new set of work-related emails from her private server.
Today, the State Department ended up producing more emails, these ones dealing with Libya and Benghazi, that were not originally turned over.
While the original hard copy review of Clinton’s 55,000 pages had to be manually sorted by the State Department, subsequent digital scans have detected approximately 925 emails that were not included originally. The department has launched another review in order to ensure that all related material will be submitted before the Select Committee on Benghazi before their next hearing.
Reports indicate that the messages were exchanged with former general David Petraeus during Clinton’s first few days as Secretary of State. So far, officials have stated that emails largely pertained to personnel matters, with no classified material having yet been identified.
However, the existence of this chain challenges Clinton’s repeated claims that she has handed over every work emails she ever had on her private account.
