Ted Cruz Impersonates Great Politician, and Does Impression of JFK Too

Republican presidential frontrunner-up and Canadian Usurper Ted Cruz loves to show off his pop culture acumen and skills at mimicry whenever he can let up on his Steven Colbert-like devotion to his passive/aggressive conservative dick character. Those skills were on brilliant display yesterday when Cruz favored an Iowa eatery with his impression of JFK, only really loud, because everybody knows louder is funnier:

JFK would be tarred and feathered and thrown out of the modern Democratic Party. You know, JFK said “Some men see things as they ahhh, and ask why. I see things that nevah wuhhh, and ask ‘Why not?'”

I’m not going to make some hoary reference to that old Lloyd Bentsen joke, because that’s just the kind of hack move that Ted Cruz would make, only he’d do it REALLY LOUD. Instead, I’ll just observe that like every other touchstone Ted Cruz tries to appropriate, JFK probably hates Ted Cruz, too.
