The Death Of A Meme: Harry Reid Says ‘Clown Question, Bro’

I am not cool.* So uncool that, until a day or so ago, I didn’t know about the viral meme that had erupted around baseball superstar (and guy who doesn’t actually represent all conservative ideals) Bryce Harper “That’s a clown question, bro” comment. However, as I am not a politician, I’m not nearly as uncool as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who quoted the comment today on Capitol Hill. And since he’s so uncool, I think we should now all mourn the death of “clown question” meme.

Oh, “Clown Question,” we barely knew thee.

*While I’m not cool, I am, in fact, awesome. These two things are very different. If you don’t know how they are different, that just proves that you aren’t awesome. However, if I were to sit here and explain the definitions of both terms, it would just prove how uncool I am. Understand?**
**If you responded to this question by merely shrugging and saying “Whatever,” then you are probably cool.

Now, the meme was actually already on life support thanks to Chris Wallace who used the phrase during a recent Fox News segment. However, it looks like Reid just pulled the life support.

Perhaps, if we ask real nicely, Harry Reid will sing “Call Me Maybe” next.
