‘This is Bullsh-t’: Fox News ‘Mole’ Defends Bill O’Reilly From Sexual Harassment Charge

As the winds continue to shift against Fox ratings king Bill O’Reilly, the embattled news host is finding support from an unlikely place.

Joe Muto, the Fox News “mole” who famously wrote about his experience at the network in the book, An Atheist in the Foxhole, took to Twitter to defend O’Reilly from the most recent allegation of sexual harassment, which dropped yesterday.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, an unidentified “African-American Fox News clerical worker” claims O’Reilly “leered” at her and called her “hot chocolate”

Muto called “bullshit.”

Muto’s defense, however, was less than full-throated. In follow up Tweets, he said O’Reilly was “definitely guilty” of other similar allegations and that he should no longer get the “benefit of the doubt.”

Muto served as an associate producer on The O’Reilly Factor between 2007 until his dismissal in 2012. During his tenure at the network, Muto was hired by the website Gawker to feed them dispatches from inside the company.
