‘This is Not Cool’: Trevor Noah Defends Tomi Lahren Over Suspension From TheBlaze

Trevor Noah took time out of Tuesday’s episode of The Daily Show to defend Tomi Lahren in light of her recent suspension from her show with TheBlaze.

The conservative firebrand’s program was sidelined for a week after an appearance on The View, where Lahren announced that she is pro-choice when it comes to abortion. The suspension comes amidst rumors that Lahren might soon be leaving Glenn Beck‘s network in pursuit of a new home.

As Noah addressed the commotion during last night’s show, he found it ironic that a conservative-leaning outlet could suspend Lahren when she built her following by speaking “her truth” and going after easily-offended “politically correct snowflakes.”

“Honestly, this is not cool,” Noah said. “I was offended by the hypocrisy. I was so offended that I wanted to protest it. Unfortunately, there’s no type of black people protest that Tomi is comfortable with, so I guess we should just move on.”

Noah’s comments were a throwback to the time he interviewed Lahren on his show, and they had a rousing debate about subjects like Colin Kaepernick and #BlackLivesMatter.
