‘This is One of the Most Ridiculous Presidencies’: Longtime Trump Pal Larry King Bashes President
— SiriusXMPolitics (@SXMPolitics) April 3, 2017
Former CNN and current Hulu and RT America host Larry King sounded off on his longtime buddy President Donald Trump in a new interview. And so far, suffice it to say, he is not impressed.
Appearing on SiriusXM’s Tell Me Everything, King told host John Fugelsang that his decades-long pal hasn’t gotten the job done in the White House to this point.
“I gotta admit that so far, this is one of the most ridiculous presidencies I have ever seen,” King said.
King said he has trouble understanding the thought process behind some of Trump’s cabinet appointments:
“It’s almost funny. To run the Environmental Protection Agency, he hires an anti-environment guy. To run the Secretary of Education [sic], he hires someone who doesn’t like education. Doesn’t like public schools. That’s weird, man.”
King also zeroed in on Trump’s recent rollback of many climate change policies instituted by President Barack Obama.
“Who doesn’t notice climate change? Come on.” King said.
Nonetheless, King expressed hope that Trump will reverse course and become more open to bipartisan leadership after the Freedom Caucus recently prevent Trump from getting the GOP’s health care bill through Congress.
