‘This One’s For You, Roger’: New England-Based Company Paints Sign Giving the Finger to NFL Commish
Some pictures are worth a thousand words. This one is only worth two.
As we posted about earlier in the week, many New England Patriots fans still feel quite a bit of antipathy towards NFL commissioner Roger Goodell as a result of the deflategate scandal — for which Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was suspended four games.
All of them, seemingly, are relishing the thought of Goodell potentially handing the Lombardi Trophy to Brady and company at the conclusion of the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. Should he win, it would be the fifth Super Bowl title for Brady.
In honor of that possibility, the Dennis Moffit Painting company in Rhode Island painted a sign outside its office which reads, “This One’s For You, Roger!” The painting features a hand with four championship rings on it.
The lone finger that’s naked? You guessed it.
“Saved this one for you Roger!!” The Facebook post said. “We can’t wait to see him on the stage with Brady.”
