During tonight’s rally in Nashville, President Donald Trump touched on the recent news that his most recent executive order issuing a travel ban on Muslim-majority countries has been blocked by a federal judge in Hawaii.
Referring to the executive order as a “watered-down version of the first order,” Trump stated that the new ban was “tailored to the dictates of the Ninth Circuit” in order to pass.
At one point, the president invoked his former opponent, saying it “fortunately” wouldn’t be Hillary Clinton when talking about the powers of the president, leading to a lengthy “Lock Her Up!” chant from the crowd.
He went on to claim that the ruling by the court was a political one, before commenting on what it makes the country look like.
“This ruling makes us look weak,” POTUS declared. “Which by the way, we no longer are, believe me. Just look at our borders. We are going to fight this terrible rule.”
