Trump 2020 Chief Downplays George Conway’s Ties to President: ‘POTUS Couldn’t Pick Him Out of a Lineup’
Brad Parscale — the campaign manager for President Donald Trump‘s 2020 reelection bid — is downplaying talk of a connection between the commander-in-chief and George Conway, with whom he is feuding on Twitter.
In a Tuesday morning Tweet, Parscale claimed that a Washington Post report which stated that George Conway introduced the president to his wife, White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway, is false.
“The rumor that Mr Kellyanne Conway introduced @KellyannePolls to @realDonaldTrump is a complete fabrication,” Parscale wrote. “Just more #FakeNews. The establishment mainstream media wants you to believe this lie. POTUS couldn’t pick him out of a lineup.”

Nonetheless, it’s clear there is some at least some prior connection between Trump and George Conway. The Post, Tuesday, shared a letter Trump wrote to George Conway dated April 2006 — in which the current president praised Conway for his role in a Trump World Tower condo board dispute.
“I wanted to thank you for your wonderful assistance in ridding Trump World Tower of some very bad people,” Trump wrote. He added, as a postscript, “you have a truly great voice, certainly not a bad asset for a top trial lawyer.”
