Trump Ally Seemingly Hints Democrats Could Be Behind Anti-Semitic Bomb Threats

Anthony Scaramucci

President Donald Trump‘s ally and former pick for a key White House position suggested Tuesday that the perpetrators behind a series of anti-Jewish bombing threats may not be who people think they are, noting that the Democrats incited violence during the election.

Anthony Scaramucci then, on Twitter, linked to a story from Breitbart alleging that Democrats “used trained provocateurs to instigate violence” at Donald Trump rallies.

When called out, Scaramucci denied that he was blaming the Democrats specifically, saying that he was only saying that people shouldn’t “jump to conclusions.”

In January, it was announced that Scaramucci would serve as the White House’s director of the Office of Public Engagement. That appointment appears to have stalled as Scaramucci waited for the Office of Governmental Ethics to clear him for the job, with some outlets reporting that he will no longer get the position.
