And now for something completely unexpected: President Donald Trump is tweeting again about how the upcoming tax bill is so so good, and the “fake news” media is so so bad.
The GOP’s effort to reform the tax system has a strong likelihood of success, and Trump said last night that he might hold a press conference today to talk about what it will mean for the American people. In the meantime, the president is back on Twitter and doing that thing he does whenever he’s not satisfied by how the media is reporting on his political endeavors.
The Tax Cuts are so large and so meaningful, and yet the Fake News is working overtime to follow the lead of their friends, the defeated Dems, and only demean. This is truly a case where the results will speak for themselves, starting very soon. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!

If anyone set the bar for critical media coverage on the tax bill today, it’s Savannah Guthrie. The NBC host interviewed House Speaker Paul Ryan earlier this morning, and she asked him if he was “living in a fantasy world” when arguing how great the tax bill will be for the national economy.
