A new poll out this morning shows President Trump‘s approval rating at just 37 percent.
Per the new ABC News/Washington Post poll, 37 percent approve of him so far, with 59 percent disapproving (among registered voters it’s 38-58).
35 percent say he’s accomplished either a great deal or a good amount during his presidency so far, compared to 65 percent who say he’s either not accomplished much or just gotten almost nothing done.
50 percent believe Trump is biased against black people, while 55 percent say he’s biased against women.
However, despite his low marks, when pitted against Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical rematch, this is what happened:
Of those Americans who say they voted in 2016, 46 percent say they supported Clinton, and 43 percent say they backed Trump. If an election were held today, with the same candidates, 40 percent of those 2016 voters say they would back Trump, and 40 percent say they would support Clinton.
As of this posting, the President has not reacted on Twitter yet, but this is what he said about the ABC/WaPo poll back in July:
The ABC/Washington Post Poll, even though almost 40% is not bad at this time, was just about the most inaccurate poll around election time!
