Trump Gleefully Predicts Andrew Cuomo’s Political Demise: His ‘Career is Over!’

Just minutes after landing in New Jersey to start his weekend at his Bedminister golf club, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to declare New York Governor Andrew Cuomo‘s political career over.

First, though, he started by asking who made the worse comment, Hillary Clinton or “Hightax Andrew Cuomo.”

“Which is worse, Hightax Andrew Cuomo’s statement, ‘WE’RE NOT GOING TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, IT WAS NEVER THAT GREAT’ or Hillary Clinton’s ‘DEPLORABLES’ statement,” Trump wrote.

Then, a minute later, he answered his own question.

“I say Andrew’s was a bigger and more incompetent blunder. He should easily win his race against a Super Liberal Actress [Cynthia Nixon], but his political career is over!”

It is the second time just today Trump has slammed Cuomo’s remarks. In a two-part tweet earlier today, Trump wrote “Andrew ‘choked’ badly, mistake!”

Trump is, of course, referring to the fact Cuomo, in the context of a conversation on gender equality, seemed to throw shade on his MAGA slogan.

“We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great,” Cuomo said during the bill signing earlier this week.

The governor continued, “We have not reached greatness. We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged. We will reach greatness when discrimination and stereotyping of women, 51% of our population, is gone, and every woman’s full potential is realized and unleashed and every woman is making her full contribution.”

Cuomo’s office has since clarified the comment, issuing a statement making it clear that the “Governor believes America is great and that her full greatness will be fully realized when every man, woman, and child has full equality” but “America has not yet reached its maximum potential.”
