Donald Trump went on a tirade against the media––and the New York Times in particular––this morning in his ongoing feud with the political press.
Trump is steamed at the Times because of a report out yesterday detailing what sounds like the first phase of a complete campaign meltdown. Some people have apparently given up on trying to change Trump, while others are desperately hoping for a re-focus on issues that matter.
This is Trump’s rebuttal:
The failing @nytimes talks about anonymous sources and meetings that never happened. Their reporting is fiction. The media protects Hillary!

The failing @nytimes, which never spoke to me, keeps saying that I am saying to advisers that I will change. False, I am who I am-never said

Donald Trump: “I am who I am.”
Yeah, that feels right.
Also, Trump has gone from saying he might lose the election because the system is rigged and because of undefined “cheating” to saying he might lose the election because of the media:
If the disgusting and corrupt media covered me honestly and didn't put false meaning into the words I say, I would be beating Hillary by 20%

Also, considering the fact that his rally yesterday was mainly media-bashing, this seems rather odd:
My rallies are not covered properly by the media. They never discuss the real message and never show crowd size or enthusiasm.
