Trump national campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson responded harshly Friday night to Hillary Clinton‘s speech at the DNC, saying that she was unmoved by the fact that the country had nominated the first woman to be a presidential candidate for a major party.
Speaking to Fox’s Eric Bolling Friday night, Pierson said, “It was actually a little anticlimactic for myself simply because it’s unfortunate that all women want to see a woman as president, but not under these circumstances.”
While speaking to Bolling, she also seemed to contradict what Trump has said about his attitude toward military leadership. “One of the things Mr. Trump has always said is that he wants to take in the information and let the generals make the decisions,” Pierson said.
In fact, Trump has said that “generals don’t know much because they’re not winning” and “I know more about ISIS than the generals do.” And he has insisted that he would get the military to follow his commands even if they violated the law. “They’re not gonna refuse me. Believe me,” he said.
