Trump, When Asked About Meme He RT’d of Rosenstein in Jail: ‘He Should Have Never Picked a Special Counsel’

President Donald Trump‘s ridiculous retweet of a meme depicting his enemies behind bars included Rod Rosenstein, and he was asked about that in his interview with The New York Post today.

In case you need a reminder, this is the tweet RT’d by the President of the United States:

The image shows Robert Mueller, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and more behind bars because of “treason,” but the President’s own deputy attorney general is there too.

And when asked why he shared that meme, this is how Trump responded:

“He should have never picked a Special Counsel.”

Trump apparently declined to say whether he plans to fire Rosenstein, but he declared, “Thank God I fired Comey. Because if I didn’t fire Comey, we wouldn’t know about (Andrew) McCabe, we wouldn’t know about (Peter) Strzok and his lover Lisa Page.”
