Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump let another curse word slip through his poorly-calibrated internal censorship software. Just as he did when he whispered an f-bomb into the microphone at a rally in New Hampshire in February (a clip that’s been featured in several Hillary Clinton ads), Trump tried to protect the sensibilities of his Davenport, Iowa crowd Thursday night while describing the mood of his critics as they watched his poll numbers rise throughout the Republican primary process.
“You know they want to say a horrible word,” Trump said, then mouthed and whispered the expletive in question:
Given Trump’s well-known propensity for completely uncensored foul language, that Iowa crowd should feel honored he made the effort at all, likely in an attempt to appeal to evangelical voters, as well as as many as two Corinthians.
