WATCH: Brian Kilmeade Tells Mediaite He’s Not Sure Trump Will Seek Reelection

In case you haven’t seen the photos yet, Mediaite held a celebration last week at at Freds at Barneys in New York in conjunction with the release of our Most Influential in News Media list for 2018. The event drew some of the top names in the business: from TV anchors to pundits, executives, editors, reporters and White House correspondents.

Mediaite’s Ken Meyer navigated the party and spoke with several attendees about the news industry on the red carpet. Meyer asked guests for answers to the questions you want to know; Which newsperson from a competing outlet would they like to grab drinks with? And what’s one question they want President Donald Trump to answer?

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, who enjoys regular viewership from the president, said he wanted to know for sure whether Trump will pursue a second term in office. CNN’s Don Lemon and NY1’s Pat Kiernan answered that they’d like to know the story behind Trump’s tax returns, but ABC’s George Stephanopoulos played coy with the question, saying he’d like to save it for the day he gets to interview Trump again.

In terms of media rivals they’d like to meet at the bar, CNN’s Jim Acosta said he’d be down for a night out with fellow White House reporter, NBC’s Peter Alexander. Fox’s Judge Andrew Napolitano played up to the host by saying he’d love to grab drinks with Mediaite founder Dan Abrams.

Other top stars that turned out for the Mediaite bash included CNN’s Jeff Zucker, SE Cupp, John Berman, Brooke Baldwin, Margaret Hoover, John Avlon, Fox News’s Ed Henry, Melissa Francis, Bill Hemmer, Sean Hannity, MSNBC’s Ari Melber, Megyn Kelly, Douglas Brunt, Diane Sawyer, Brian Ross, Dan Abrams, Preet Bharara, Ann Coulter, Jay Sures, Evan Siegfried, Kristin Tate, and the staff of Mediaite.
