An inspiring, wheelchair-bound Australian cheerleader has become a worldwide Internet sensation, thanks an inspiring routine she performed with her team.
Check out the video below, via Facebook, of Debbie Threlfo being hoisted out of her wheelchair by her Oxygen All Star Lithium teammates, and performing a series of moves which helped propel the squad to a title in the special ability division of an Australian cheerleading competition
Threlfo, 26, has celebral palsy, but it hasn’t kept her from a rigorous, once a week training schedule.
“I’ve always had a passion for cheerleading,” Threlfo told the BBC.
“You’ve got to have determination. You’ve got to have passion.”
