When we see something truly funny, we have to share.
Sharing is one of those things adults try to teach kids about along with respect for others and how to command respect for themselves. In the video above, you can see how one self-assured child has really internalized the lessons about expecting to be treated respectfully.
So, to set the scene, you’re looking at an event for military families that was hosted by Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence. (Also in attendance: the BOTUS, Marlon Bundo.)
Now, look at that kid who got smacked in the face when the VP spread his arms and said, “God bless these wonderful kids.” Watch that child faithfully trail the former governor of Indiana demanding an apology. Seriously, you can hear the words, “You owe me an apology.”
He didn’t get what he wanted at first, but he persisted, which is an important thing to teach a child to do, so good on his parents. In the end, the fruits of his labor ripened into a big old “I’m very sorry” from Mike Pence.
Now, we have to ask: Is this even better than the time Ted Cruz smacked Heidi Cruz in the face twice when announcing he was giving up his presidential run?
