WATCH: Marco Rubio and Alex Jones Nearly Come to Blows, Senator Warns ‘I’ll Take Care of You Myself’

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones nearly started a fight with Marco Rubio (R-FL) in the halls of the Senate on Wednesday when he harassed the senator as he was interviewed by reporters.

Rubio spoke to reporters today about the Senate Intel Committee’s hearing with heads of Twitter and Facebook, so Jones confronted him with complaints about the recent social media crackdown on his website Infowars. Rubio tried to stay on topic by talking about foreign disinformation campaigns and alleged big tech bias against conservatives, but he had to deal with Jones repeated interruptions.

The encounter consisted of Jones mocking Rubio and calling him a “frat boy,” as the senator tried to laugh things off and ignore him.

At one point, Jones put his hand on Rubio’s shoulder, and the senator replied with a glare: “Don’t touch me again, man. I’m asking you not to touch me again.”

“Oh you want me arrested?” Jones taunted.

“You’re not going to get arrested, man” Rubio replied. “You’re not going to get arrested — I’ll take care of you myself.”

“Oh he’ll beat me up!” Jones replied. “You are literally like a little gangster thug. Rubio just threatened to physically fight me.”

Rubio continued to shrug off Jones as best he could, and when he left the interview, he told reporters: “You guys can talk to this clown.”

“Go back to your bathhouse!” Jones cried at Rubio as he walked away.
