Watch Michael Phelps Go for his 20th Career Gold Medal
Surely by now, you caught that death stare pictured here that Michael Phelps shot at his South African rival Chad le Clos last night. le Clos danced and shadowboxed in front of Phelps, who in return fired the icy glare you see here. (What is it with the nasty rivalries between all the swimmers this year?)
Well tonight, Phelps and La Clos will settle it in the pool when they square off in the finals of the 200m Butterfly. For Phelps, it’s a chance to grab an astonishing 20th career Gold medal. (The person with the second most all-time has nine.)
The race is scheduled for 9:28 p.m. ET and will be aired live on NBC in the eastern and central time zones. To watch via desktop or laptop, visit nbcolympics.com. From there, you will be taken to log in to your cable provider. To watch on your phone or tablet, use the NBC Sports App, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the Windows Store. The app, too, requires a cable or satellite subscription to stream the Games.
