An NBC anchor maintained an impressive amount of self control on Tuesday when she went into labor in the middle of a live broadcast.
News 4 New York host Natalie Pasquarella sat with her colleagues two days ago to help report on the news that Twitter is experimenting with longer tweets. Pasquarella let out a nervous laugh towards the end of the segment, and while it might not have seemed odd for viewers, she was actually holding in the fact that her water just broke.
Pasquarella managed to finish the rest of the show before letting people know her baby was coming. Her colleagues helped Pasquarella get to the hospital so she met with her husband Jamin ahead of the delivery.
After 13 hours of labor, Jamin James Pastore was born weighing 5 pounds and 6 ounces.
Mediaite offers its congratulations to Pasquarella and her family.
