WATCH: Obama, Putin Actually Spoke Face-to-Face During D-Day Commemoration

It was kind of a big deal that President Obama kept some distance from Vladimir Putin during yesterday’s D-Day anniversary commemoration in France (and an even bigger deal when they ended up too close for comfort), but the two world leaders did actually speak during a lunch for various heads of state. And there’s video.

Well, a Vine. Posted by the French government. But still.

Now, one could only imagine what they must have been talking about. Luckily, there are people who study body language for a living, and one of these people told Business Insider that based on the short snippet released, Putin looks “more agitated,” possibly because Obama asked him to do something and he said he couldn’t do it.

So really, that could range from “Please come to dinner tonight” to “That thing you’re doing with Ukraine, knock it off.”
