After sixteen days of record-breaking performances, historic medal hauls, and mostly green water, the 2016 Summer Olympics is just about over. Tonight’s Closing Ceremony caps off an Olympiad in which the US was dominant in the medal count, both in terms of Gold medals and most overall.
Gymnast Simone Biles will carry the flag tonight for the US, after winning a remarkable four Gold medals, plus a Bronze.
The Closing Ceremony gets underway at 7:00 p.m. ET, but just as with the Opening Ceremony, it will air on at least a one hour tape delay in all time zones, 8:00 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. To watch on your phone or tablet, use the NBC Sports App, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the Windows Store. The app, too, requires a cable or satellite subscription to stream the Games.
