Watch This Video of Trump Grimacing and Trying to Dance As a Musician Sings to Him
On Sunday, presidential candidate Donald Trump hosted an event for some local Republicans in Palm Beach and he invited his new friend and latest high-profile endorser Ben Carson to come along.
While they were there, an Emmy-nominated singer named Beau Davidson approached to offer his musical talents to the business mogul. As he sang a rousing rendition of “Stand By Me,” he changed up the words a little bit, imploring Trump, “Donald, Doooonald, stand by me!” During this performance, Trump and Carson stood uncomfortably on the stage. Trump swayed a little and kept looking off to his right. Carson clapped, but only put about an inch of space between his hands when he did so, which was also awkward-looking.
In general, the whole thing was pretty cringeworthy from beginning to end:
Although Davidson has performed for a number of conservatives politicians and events, this tweet from his official account makes it look like his joyful performance might have had some prank-like undertones.

Still, the best part might be that over at Fox 10 Phoenix’s YouTube page, someone left this comment after watching the video:
Sums it up!
Watch above and sing along!
