WATCH LIVE: TRUMP IMPEACHMENT TRIAL DAY 4

WATCH: Trump Ad Claims Democrats Are ‘Complicit in Every Murder’ Committed by Undocumented Immigrants

Adding flames to the fire that is the immigration debate currently taking place in Washington, D.C., the Trump campaign launched a new video campaign claiming Democrats are “complicit” in every murder committed by an immigrant who illegally entered the US.

“It’s pure evil,” the ad says — referring to crimes perpetrated by undocumented immigrants. “President Trump is right — build the wall, deport criminals, stop illegal immigration now.”

The clip continues: “President Trump will fix our border and keep our family safe.”

After showing clips of what appear to be an undocumented immigrant in the hands of border patrol officers, the video cuts to Democratic congressional leaders Senator Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, stating the following: “Democrats who stand in our way will be complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants.”

The ad comes just after Senate Democrats opted to remain united in their opposition of a short-term spending bill, primarily because DACA recipients were not protected in the proposed measure. This disagreement resulted in a federal government shutdown on Friday night.

President Donald Trump has since attacked Democrats in congress for supposedly choosing “illegal immigrants” over government funding.

“Democrats are far more concerned with Illegal Immigrants than they are with our great Military or Safety at our dangerous Southern Border. They could have easily made a deal but decided to play Shutdown politics instead. #WeNeedMoreRepublicansIn18 in order to power through mess!” Tweeted the president in response to the shutdown.

He went on to post another job, saying, “This is the One Year Anniversary of my Presidency and the Democrats wanted to give me a nice present. #DemocratShutdown”
