President Trump will attend the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington today, where he is expected to deliver a message on religious faith and appeal to his evangelical supporters. The address is expected to begin at 8:00 a.m. EST.
Notable attendees of the event will include House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, and Apprentice producer Mark Burnett. Indeed, Trump called out to Burnett on Twitter earlier today.
Will be heading over shortly to make remarks at The National Prayer Breakfast in Washington. Great religious and political leaders, and many friends, including T.V. producer Mark Burnett of our wonderful 14 season Apprentice triumph, will be there. Looking forward to seeing all!

Speeches at the National Prayer Breakfast typically lean away from explicit commentary on politics, though its possible that Trump will take the opportunity to speak about protecting religious liberty once again. Trump could also talk about his support for pro-religion policy like ending the Johnson Amendment, which forbids churches and religious groups from providing support to political candidates.
