Usain Bolt goes for his eighth career Olympic Gold medal, and second of the 2016 Games, on Thursday night in Rio.
The electrifying Bolt is slated to take on seven foes in the finals of the 200m. Surprisingly, Justin Gatlin of the US is not among them. Gatlin finished third in his semifinal heat, and did not qualify for the the final.
The 200m is the final indvidual Olympic run for Bolt, who turns 30 on Sunday. He does still have the 4×100 relay coming up with his teammates from Jamaica on Friday night.
The 200m race is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET and will be aired live on NBC in the eastern and central time zones. To watch via desktop or laptop, visit nbcolympics.com.
