Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is briefing the press at 2 pm ET today.
The big news from the White House today is that President Trump announced the designation of North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism, returning it to that list after it was removed back in 2008.
But there’s also a notable report from BuzzFeed out about how National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster allegedly mocked the President’s intelligence during a private dinner, and Huckabee Sanders might get asked about that as well.
Other likely topics for the briefing may be President Trump’s tweet about LaVar Ball and the UCLA players who were arrested in China, his tweet slamming Marshawn Lynch, Kellyanne Conway‘s comments this morning about Roy Moore and tax reform, and the ongoing questions about Moore himself and what the President’s personal position is.
Last week, in talking about the allegations of sexual misconduct against political figures like Moore and Al Franken, Huckabee Sanders was asked about the allegations against Trump.
She responded, “I think in one case specifically Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing and the president hasn’t. I think that’s a very clear distinction.”
