With the revelations from Michael Wolff‘s forthcoming book Fire and Fury continuing to dominate the news, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will meet the media Thursday afternoon for the daily briefing.
Wednesday’s session was dominated by Fire and Fury talk, and it seems a sure bet that Thursday’s will be too. Much of the questioning Wednesday centered on Steve Bannon, and the fiery statement that President Donald Trump issued in which he said that his former chief strategist “lost his mind.”
Since the Wednesday briefing concluded, some explosive new passages from the book have been reported. Notably, Wolff reports that Trump once told White House Communications Director Hope Hicks that she was “the best piece of tail Corey Lewandowski will ever have.”
And, of course, we are one day closer to the Fake News Awards. The subject was awkwardly broached during Wednesday’s briefing, and figures to come up at some point on Thursdy as well.
The briefing is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. Watch above, via the White House.
