In the increasingly desperate struggle for eclipse-related content, CNN gave us a fun moment which included Wolf Blitzer trying out his solar eclipse glasses.

It was quite a bit of exuberance for the famously stoic and non-emotive CNN anchor — and the Mediaite office was shook.

Now of course, Wolf was actually performing a critical public service in providing the media’s 8,257th warning that Americans NOT look into the sun while the eclipse is happening — or at any other time.

The glasses weren’t long for Wolf as they ran the risk of overstimulating typical Wolf viewers. For more action packed eclipse coverage, we would recommend changing the channel to Fox News and Shep Smith.
