‘WEEEEE’: Looks Like FoxNews.Com Was Hacked? (UPDATED)

If you visited FoxNews.com in the last hour, you may be concerned about an apparent zombie attack, a maverick sea lions, and the editorial shift in Fox’s news coverage of shooting deaths (apparently considering “WEEEE” to be appropriate commentary).

Unfortunately for FoxNews.Com the site was apparently hacked on Tuesday afternoon. Fortunately for the reader, the new site did offer quite a bit of “stuff fo yo.”

UPDATE: The network’s official account tweeted out that the website is having issues relating to “an internal production problem” and should be fixed shortly. A statement about the incident is expected to follow.

UPDATE II: Fox News has released an official statement:

“During routine website maintenance, a home page prototype was accidently moved to the actual site. As with any mistake in testing, engineers noticed the error and quickly brought the site back to its normal function.”
