‘When I Said it, They F*cking Threw Me Off ABC!’: Maher on Trump Saying America’s Not So Innocent

In the middle of an absolutely bonkers panel discussion on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight, host Bill Maher remarked on President Donald Trump’s comments equating Russia with the United States and compared it to a situation he experienced.

Going down a list of crazy things Trump has said or tweeted in recent days, he brought up the president telling Bill O’Reilly “what do you think — our country’s so innocent?” This was in response to O’Reilly labeling Vladimir Putin a killer with Trump also saying that America has plenty of killers.

As Maher got to that statement, panelist Piers Morgan chimed in, asking what’s so crazy about it.

“Well, when I said it, they f*cking threw me off ABC,” Maher emphatically declared, referencing the time he lost his Politically Incorrect show following comments he made about the 9/11 terrorists.

After the crowd cheered, Morgan continued to break down Trump’s comment, pointing to the Iraq War as prime example of America not being innocent.
