WikiLeaks Helps Fuel Clinton Earpiece Conspiracy Nonsense
— WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) September 8, 2016
Now, WikiLeaks will probably say something along the lines of “Hey, we didn’t raise questions about last night! We just pointed to a past email!”
Well, aside from the obvious “well that would be a BS excuse” factor, there’s a teensy tiny little problem here with that email. First, this amusing and curious error:
“.goy.” (The error is the State Department’s here.)
And the second, more obvious problem with this email is what the “earpiece” referenced is actually about.
The date of the email is September 24, 2009. And you wanna guess what happened on that date?
Sept 24, 2009 would've been during the UN General Assembly, when people use earpieces to hear the translation https://t.co/LFzMYkANFP

This is, obviously, not the first time WikiLeaks has engaged in conspiracy nonsense about Clinton.
