Mike Huckabee Says Owner of Red Hen Followed Sanders Family to Another Restaurant to Start a Protest
Former Gov. Mike Huckabee spoke today with radio host Laura Ingraham on her show Monday regarding his daughter, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, being kicked out of a restaurant over the weekend. According to Huckabee, things were not as “polite” as has been reported.
Ingraham released the segment with Huckabee on her website Monday afternoon after Tweeting a summary.
This restaurateur of The Red Hen Stephanie Wilkinson not only told @PressSec Sanders to leave–acc to @GovMikeHuckabee on my radio show today, she FOLLOWED Sanders' family across the street to harass them at the other restaurant they went to! https://t.co/DEo2QOAcTY

Huckabee picks up where the story so far left off: after Sanders was asked to leave. According to Huckabee, Sanders and her husband departed the restaurant and went home alone, but her in-laws continued on to another restaurant.
By the way Laura, there’s a part of that story that hasn’t been told, you’re going to be the first to hear it. Once Sarah and her family left, of course Sarah was asked to please vacate, Sarah and her husband just went home. They had sort of had enough. But the rest of her family went across the street to a different restaurant. The owner of the Red Hen – nobody’s told this – then followed them across the street, called people, and organized a protest yelling and screaming at them from outside the other restaurant and creating this scene.”
Huckabee notes that many of her in-laws are liberals and stated that one of them confronted the protesters, saying they were making liberals look bad and yelling at someone who wasn’t even there.
“This is what the left has been reduced to. It’s really tragic,” he said. “And it is dangerous.”
