WATCH: Retiring NBA Star Dwyane Wade and Sibling of Parkland Victim ‘Trade Jerseys’ in Emotional Tribute Video

As Dwyane Wade wraps up his final season in the NBA, Budweiser released an emotional video dedicated to the star athlete’s influence outside of basketball.

Wade, who plays his last Miami Heat home game against the Philadelphia 76ers tonight, has traded jerseys with notable players throughout his farewell season, so Budweiser gathered a number of ordinary people who Wade helped off the court to swap jerseys with.

The video included Andrea Ghersi — the sibling of late Parkland student Joaquin Oliver, who was killed in the school shooting. Ghersi thanked the athlete for dedicating a Miami game to Oliver and donning a pair of shoes with the student’s name on them. A woman whose house was burnt down also appeared in the clip, as Wade took her family on an all-expenses-paid shopping trip after the fire.

Each of the people featured in the four-minute video traded a personal item related to Wade’s impact on their lives in exchange for a jersey.

The shooting guard’s mother, Jolinda Wade, was also featured in the video and thanked her son for giving her the funds to buy a church.

“When you bought your momma that church, you don’t understand the lives that you changed,” she said. “I am more proud of the man you have become than the basketball player. You are bigger than basketball. When you bought your momma that church, you don’t understand the lives that you changed.
