The Republican congressman has set up the meeting for next Wednesday morning, but has yet to reach out to Comey, who he said has a new phone number.
Chaffetz responded on Tuesday to reports that President Donald Trump asked Comey to drop his investigation into former national security adviser Mike Flynn, claiming on Twitter he was going to subpoena the alleged memo detailing the request:

The Senate Intelligence Committee also sent a letter to Comey earlier on Wednesday, requesting that the former FBI head give testimony in both open and closed door sessions.
